I realized that I needed to revisit my review for Red Zeppelin. I may have mentioned in my first review that this is the very first restaurant I tried when I first moved to Baton Rouge. I was initially very unimpressed by my experience, but I have since changed my mind. I love going to get the Florentine Zeppewich. It is amazingly creamy with its base being the spinach and artichoke dip. With the peppers and the chicken and the cheese all cooked together in a pizza crust, it is a sandwich to be reckoned with. They offer a little cup of sour cream on the side to dip the sandwich in. The tanginess of the sour cream compliments the other flavors well. I suppose after all of my visits, I realized that they balanced out my first negative experience enough that they earned another star from me. However, the single thing that made me decide to revise my reviews was the addition of the tiramisu to the menu. When I first heard about it, I thought I was in for some rather deep disappointment, but as my mission is to find the perfect tiramisu, I was honor-bound to try it. I was so completely surprised and satisfied, that I have made plans to go back specifically to have it. I will also be dragging my friends there so I can get more slices in the future too.

They have good pizza and a great beer selection and some of the cheapest beer prices in town. Really like this place, highly recommended, I only wish I had found out about it sooner!

Great pizza you can tell that all the ingredients are fresh. Quality cheese great crust. I can almost guarantee next time were in Baton Rouge this will be a stop.

We drove to Baton Rouge six times from North Texas looking for a new home. On one of our visits we were tired, cranky and hungry. We also had our fourth kid, Lulu the puggle in our car. We looked up places nearby that would let you have pet and found Red Zepplin. We drove up, and it did not look so promising, but they would allow sweet Loo, so we took our chances. I can honestly say it's the best pizza we've gotten in a long time, and it is not just a hungry belly talking. We've returned at least four more times since relocating, and each time is great. For a picky Vegetarian, this says a lot. The only con is that it's a good thirty minutes from the new house. (20 if I drive like a North Texan, and for this pizza I will.)

I liked the bubbles behind the bar.

We had the "Mothership" and it was pretty darn good. The beer selection was huge! There's a lot of outside seating for smokers but it's sort of close to the street so if you're sitting out there you're fighting competing pollutants - second hand smoke and car fumes. Good pizza though. Would do again.

I am of the strong opinion that it is very hard to screw up pizza.. And this place did the perfect job - of screwing up my pizza! For real! We ordered via 237menu.com (that service has its own issues) but anyways.. A large customized veggie pizza for 33 bucks and a large meat lovers pizza for 29 bucks.. I am really expecting a lot after I make that payment online! The brea appetizer that came was the most unappetizing dish ever! The bread was soggy and the crust hard and old. It was also floating in cold butter which was awful. Even with 2 hungry guys on my team, no one finished it! Then came the pizza.. The crust tasted like cardboard! It was hard and chewy and just a bad experience. My pizza came with tomatoes tho I did not ask for them - lead to my co worker not being able to haw pizza cuz she dislikes tomatoes. For the amount we paid, the amount we waited and the food we got - I would say AVOID The order came with no napkins or cutlery- this was a take out order for gods sake!

Great pizza with a ton of options when it comes to toppings- it's certainly not your run of the mill "pepperoni or sausage" joint. We got ours to go, which was good because it's pretty small inside. Also, traffic can make getting in and out of the parking lot tricky.

The thincrust pizza is very good and consistent. One of my favorite places to get pizza in BR. Service is just ok. Lots of Beer on tap. 3.5/5

Pizza was pretty tasty but the service was incredibly bad.... We waited quite a while for our order and when it arrived it was all wrong, there were onions on my husbands pizza so we sent it back. They said it would only be a few minutes to correct the error, but our entire party had finished their meal and was ready to leave when his pizza arrived. Management did not address the issue and the waitress offered him a 5% discount on his order. Took another 10 minutes for her to return with card. Do yourself a favor and sit on the patio, the inside is incredibly loud or even better go some place else. Other restaurants might (I would say WILL) appreciate your business more.

Havn't had pizza in a while so I wanted a local place with a range of reviews. This place was exactly what I was looking for. Obviously it wasn't the best pizza I've ever had or they would have 5 starts, but it was a non standard thin crust and a unique atmosphere that makes it a place worth visiting. It is a little small so if they get busy you may have to wait or sit outside. They also have a full bar which isn't always a given for a pizza place. Although while visiting Baton Rouge I noticed almost everywhere was a full bar, so I don't know what that says about LSU. The pizza was perfectly cooked, no burnt edges, and no raw cheese. Another consistency plus was that almost every bite of the pizza was the same amount of chease, toppings and crust. I hate when teh last few bites before crust is all sauce, or just bread. Overall this was a nice break from the pizza chain mentality and I would recomend it for a date, a visitting travelor like myself, or just a place to try on a thursday night when cooking/cleaning sounds like torture.

This place is always a great place to kick back and have some quality pizza and beer. I always sit outside for two reasons: one, it's peaceful, despite being next to a major thoroughfare. Two, inside the restaurant has consistently smelled like their bathroom has sewage problems. There's always a hint of poop in the air that really grosses me out. Despite that, the staff is very friendly and personable and I've never had any problems with incorrect orders or tabs. I really like that they have a personal pan size as well, or on weekdays for lunch you can even get just a slice. I hate having to order a huge pizza and eat only two slices from it. If you want a relaxed atmosphere and some good pizza and beer, Red Zeppelin is the place for you!

We tried Red Zeppelin pizza for the first time after using the Living Social deal. We absolutely loved it! Being on a budget, the deal was perfect for us. The pizza is a little pricey w/o the deal, but it was really good stuff!! We are definitely fans!!

What a cute gem this is!!!! I love sitting outside to eat. Their outsie decor is what brought me in. It looked fun, inviting and relaxing. Its a bit cheesy but I loved it!! They had light up palm trees (fake but cute!), hanging lights, heaters, and a small tv in the corner. It seems to be a neigborhood hangout. Very Cute! Anyway- the food...I ordered a personal/small veggie pizza and it was pretty average. Delicious, cheesy, full of veggies. My Fiance got his usual- Pepperoni pizza. its pretty difficult to mess up a pizza. Nothing really blew me away... but I just really enjoyed the atmosphere here! We also had the appitizer- i think it was breadsticks and mozz sticks. I would definitely return to enjoy the atmosphere, and the pizza... maybe when it gets a bit warmer. ( I visited in Jan so it was a little chilly)... Love this place!!

  • Brady T.

Pizza and calzones were average. Great beer selection though... Would've been two stars, but the beer selection made it 3 for me. Also the place is tiny.

Props to my buddy who opened the place. He did a great job! The pizza has turned out amazing (I havent had one that I didn't like, and ive tried almost all). The vibe of the restaurant is great and I'm digging the finished patio!

Really, really good pizza. It's thin crust, delicious, flavorful, and tasty toppings. The crust isn't soggy, which is a problem a lot of "good" pizza places have. We got a pizza called "The Mothership" I think. The decor & some of the pizza names are references to Led Zeppelin or other classic rock bands. I have no idea what it might reference, but it seemed to be the closest thing to a supreme pizza they had. It was good - if I remember correctly, it was pepperoni, maybe sausage, yellow pepper, bell peppers, red peppers, mozzarella, and a good red sauce. I'd recommend it if you want to share a pizza with someone. It's got some of everything, and I think it would be a good pie to try out if you want to know what Red Zeppelin is all about. Honestly, I think it's the best pizza in Baton Rouge, and I'm kind of a pizza snob. One final comment - it's not enough to subtract a star, but one of the girls in our group was kind of pissed. We got there at either right after 2 or right after 3. My friend saw on the menu they had pizza by the slice for lunch, but "lunch" ended right before we got there. She asked if there were any slices left over - she didn't care what kind was left, she just wanted one small slice. The waitress (who was really nice) said she thought there was, but she would check. She then came back and told us there were pizza slices left, but we couldn't have them because it was after lunch. It just seems like such a waste. If we were asking them to make a whole new pizza just to buy one slice, of course they should say no, that would be dumb. We were asking them to sell us something that would otherwise be throwing in the garbage, and they wouldn't do it. I know we were ordering 15 minutes after the time was up, but come on! Still, this isn't a review on business practices. They get the five stars for the pizza. tl,dr Great pizza, nice decor, cool laid back waitresses, try the mothership, don't order a slice after "lunch" they would rather throw it away.

Tastiest damn pizza I've had in Baton Rouge. Fun environment. Nice patio with heaters. Ordered 2 sodas, cheesy bread and a medium pizza for 2. Paid less than $20. (Try the alligator sausage.)

My favorite pizza in Baton Rouge. Great location right off of Perkins in front of The Bulldog, perfect for a before or after a night out meal. Plus, they have a great patio, great beer on draft, and tremendous drink specials. Most importantly, they have various types of Garlic Cheese Bread that will make your heart skip a beat because your tastebuds have flipped their s$&!. Seriously. And then you'll want to order another loaf because that's just what happens with this bread. My favorite is the Jalapeño flavor, but you can't go wrong with original or Spinach and Artichoke either. Trust me. If you're going pizza, the Bou-Ray is dreamy - boudin base with sausage, Tasso, onions, jalapeño and cheese on top. KILLER. The Supreme is pretty great as well, with nice and fresh toppings and TONS of meat. Next time the weather's nice, run not walk to a spot on the patio and settle in with a pitcher of beer, 2 orders of cheese bread and the pizza of your choosing. It makes for a great day/afternoon/night!

I absolutely love everything about this place. They have amazing food. And their patio is great! I've done both pickup and dine-in, large and small groups, and with and without my 3 year old. And no matter what, they always deliver a delicious and incredible time. Do not miss out on this place.

I liked this place a lot. The service was decent and I loved the music. As far as the food goes that spinach artichoke dip is the real deal delicious. The way they season the bread is very good and worth the price (which I initially thought was too much). They have a few lunch specials which we tried. The salad was lifeless The pizza was great. I would definitely come back.

This is my favorite pizza in town. Today I ordered the BBQ chicken pizza. The combination of ingredients blend perfectly. The onions hiding under the cheese and sauce are perfectly proportioned to the chicken. Each ingredient had its turn to delight without overwhelming the others. One of my other favorites is the enchilada pizza. If you like spicy, this is the one for you. I prefer this one without the jalapeños but my companion got extra on his and loved it. When the weather is nice, they have an outside patio. I have enjoyed many a glass of wine there with my friends.

I've been wanting to try this pizza joint for awhile and I finally made it here! My family went for a Sunday lunch. I was happy to see that they offer their lunch menu on the weekend. This is a rarity in Baton Rouge. We started with the pesto cheese bread and it was awesome! I seriously could have just eaten that for my meal. It was an ample size appetizer and made me look forward to our pizza even more than I already was. My kids got slices of cheese pizza. However, they arrived very overcooked. So overcooked that I immediately sent them back to have them redone since the cheese was literally brown and my children would have never eaten it. Thankfully we still had some of the pesto bread to keep them occupied while we waited for the replacement. The replacements were still a little overcooked but edible and both kids seemed to enjoy it. My husband and I shared a great Balls of Fire pizza which had meatballs, jalapenos, feta, and bbq sauce. It was very good! Overall, we had a pleasant first experience here and we will be returning. I'm hoping we caught them on an off day with the slices being overcooked. But I am going to have to return soon if for no other reason than to get the pesto cheese bread!

What a great little pizza joint. It's a little small, but has all the necessary accoutrements that make for a great place to eat. Both indoor and outdoor seating is available. Sadly, despite the establishment looking great and having friendly staff, my wife and I found their pizza to be average. Pizza is such a subjective thing to rate since everyone has their own specific tastes when it comes to one of America's favorite foods. I would advise you to give it a shot. We won't be going back for pizza, but they did have a great looking menu with plenty of other options that are probably worth a shot. Crust was good. It was crispy on the edges and provided some structural support when held. The sauce was just ok. Personally, I prefer a lot of sauce and they only put a little bit. There wasn't much else that stood out to me.

I have been going to Red Zeppelin almost every week lately, and always have a wonderful experience. The servers are very friendly and the food is always delicious! I've tried the jalapeno cheese bread, hummus, and all vegetarian pizzas. All are fabulous! The heartbreaker pizza is my favorite, and I love to get it with light cheese. The hummus is great too, and I love the pizza points it is served with. RZ has good drink specials too and a fabulous beer selection. The only downside is that it gets crowded ( and noisy!) quickly, and there are usually crying children around. But, I can't fault the restaurant for being so good that everyone wants to go!

  • Mister C.

Sweet Jesus, your pizza sucks! With a crust that tastes like old crackers and a general chew chew chew that a bundle of toppings can't even save. The whole thing tastes like it's a week old and we ordered two of them. Ended up eating two slices and tossing the rest. What a waste. The Buffalo Chicken wings are just as bad. The flavor is fine but the texture was all slimy, which is never a good feeling when there's chicken in your mouth. If you like your spinach salad with more bacon than spinach, then this is your spot. For us, it was an expensive mistake.

  • Marge C.

Mothership is my go-to favorite at Red Zepplin. The pizza is a good thin crust style. Beer specials often include a $3 draft. The beer selection is excellent. Outdoor seating is dog friendly.

  • Nikhil D.

Pesto sauce is amazing here! There pizzas are great anytime. A wee bit oily but then if you're having your load of cheese better have it here. Their daily special drink deals are good to go along with pizza. You might want to land up on Thursdays and have a picture for 10$. Rest is the ambience and the service. They are just really cool. And light on your wallet.

  • Katie G.

This is one of the best pizzerias in Baton Rouge, hands-down. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and it did not disappoint! The cheese was hot and melted, it wasn't too greasy, just as a pizza should be. Worth every penny.

Pizza was amazing!! Service was excellent!! Definitely a great place to visit and we will be here again.

  • Jona G.

I'm only giving this place four stars due to the fact they don't have a deep dish or variety of crust. The appetizer breads would be perfect if they could make that into a pizza. They have a cute outside patio with fans. A couple people had brought their dogs. They have a great variety of toppings for their pizzas so that is a plus. They even have the option to custom make your pizza. Next time I'll try the calzones. I'll try to remember to update my review next time too.

  • Michelle J.

My favorite pizza is the It's All Greek To Me but in case you're having a hard time deciding they're happy to do half and half for medium and large sized pizzas. The atmosphere here is really nice.. family and pet friendly. The noise from passing cars is quite loud but doesn't make it hard to hear conversations. And there are fireplaces to knock the chill off.

This place is my kind of place. Good beer, pizza, music and outdoor seating. The 1 time I came I got the 'bayou-Que Pizza. It's the traditional bbq pizza; chicken, bacon, red onion and bbq sauce done well. I washed this down with Grimbergen Belgium Abbey Ale. This is now in my rotation amongst my favorite beers. The 2nd time I came I got the 'Great Balls of Fire' It's got sliced meatballs, jalapenos, feta, cheddar and mozzarella cheeses, red onion and bbq sauce. Quite tasty. I also washed this down with my before mentioned fave beer. The entire menu is filled with LEd Zeppelin (duh!) and classic rock references. The music is the bluesy classic rock stuff that I love. There are 20 plus beers on tap, the crust is thin and reasonably priced. I will be back soon to try more of the menu. Oh and all the beers on tap are under 3.00 during happy hour.

Baton Rouge doesn't have very many good pizza places, but if you want to have a list of them, this should be on it. I ate here when they first opened and left unimpressed, but recently gave them another try on urging of some of my friends. It definitely left a better impression than my first visit. I've had the pizza margherita and the heartbreaker so far and would highly recommend both of them. This place also has a really good beer selection for a place this size. Overall, the service is good, the pizza is good, and they have a good beer list. I will definitely be back.

  • Rachel P.

The pizza is incredible, the decor is unique and fun, the wait staff are attentive and did I mention the pizza? Red Zeppelin has a thin crust that is better than any thin crust you've ever had. It's crispy but not hard or dry and the best part is that they are consistent. I've been here several times and never had a bad experience. They have an excellent beer selection, a unique sangria recipe that is to die for and the atmosphere is laid back and enjoyable. There are a few pizzas on the menu that you simply must try: the mothership and El Diablo among them. This place is relatively new compared to some of the other "must try" pizza joints but this place is locally owned and easily in the running for "best pizza in baton rouge."

We are from Dallas, and this is the best pizza we have ever had. The crust was thin, but not hard. The ingredients tasted fresh. The waitress was super friendly, too.

  • Erica S.

Terrible service to the point we had to walk out after waiting 20 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink, another 10 until the waitress stopped by and said we looked "ready". DUH Left and won't be back. Ever

This place was recommend by one of my friends here on Yelp and BAM she delivered. I ordered a small pepperoni & roasted garlic pizza and it was amazing. I really do not eat pizza, but I had to try this place out while in Baton Rouge and what a remarkable place to eat. Red Zepplins is a 5 star! Great job to the owners and crew.

  • Lesia C.

Red Zeppelin is one of my 2 favorite pizza places in Baton Rouge. I often order the Mothership which is a chicken, sundried tomato, spinachy pie from heaven. The crust is firm with a slight crunch and the sauce is more garlic and oil based. No tomato sauce on this one. For a more traditional but well topped pizza, try the Whole Lotta Love! A great pizza for sure! Their salads are fresh and I find the size right for splitting if a pizza is also ordered. Another bright spot here is the Sangria. I enjoy a glass with my pizza and the one here hits the spot. We often eat outside here even through the winter as they have good heaters. It can be a little noisy some evenings from the traffic on Perkins, but it usually isn't bothersome enough to make conversation difficult. We seem to always get pretty good service here. Some of the staff do a better job than others but I guess that is typical. This is a fun place to stop by with a couple of friends and get your evening or the weekend off to a good start. Now, I want a pizza!!

  • Kayla M.

Red Zepplin is always a solid choice in Baton Rouge. The pizza is the best in town, the beer selection is fantastic and it is the best place for outdoor dining with friends and pups. This is also one of the only places that you can roasted garlic on your pizza! Pictured is the Summer Shandy, currently on tap, the spinach and artichoke dip with a canine friend in the background, and a small pizza with pepperoni, bacon and roasted garlic.

The best pizza in town... BBQ sauce is to die for. Have an outdoor covered area which is really nice and always good service!!

Ordered cheese sticks with pesto b/c someone on yelp said the pesto was amazing. It was not. Im not even sure the correct type of cheese was used on that bread. The pesto was unimpressive. Im not sure how one can fail on cheese bread. But I will say that kept us from ordering pizza. My drink was pretty strong tho. That's why I gave two stars.

As a former resident of Illinois, and just a few steps away from some of the most legendary slices of pizza in the country, it's been beyond hard to find a slice that salivates my palette. After trying about five or so pizza places, someone led me here, and made me restore my faith in eating pizza in the South. At this time of writing, I have spent my dollars here on about three different sporadic visits. I always order the pepperoni and sausage pizza, I love the thin crust, but unlike most thin crust pizzas, they load their slices with flavor and meat. Who doesn't like meat? Well, never mind. Anyhow, I like Red Zeppelin, but I still miss Chicago-style pizza. Yet, a little birdie told me that many more pizza places will be popping up soon. Until then, Red Zeppelin is by far my favorite pizza in Baton Rouge!

    (4)
  • El C.

The only reason this place didn't merit five stars was because the service was slow. To be fair the server was overworked, so it wasn't her fault. I'm from the Chicago area, and I've had all kinds of pizza, but the thin crust with goat cheese, tomatoes and artichokes we had tonight is probably the best pizza I've ever had. The patio was delightful with large red umbrellas and two large fans. It was quite comfortable out there. I know I'll return to Red Zeppelin the next time I'm in BRLA.

I love sitting outside eating pizza on a sunny day with a beer in hand watching the game.... They have a good beer selection and a pretty inventive pizza style. While its not the best pizza in the world I still really enjoy it. The inside is kinda small but there is a cute bar area. Either way it is a cool place to check out if you're in the area.

I have eaten at this pizza restaurant several times now. At first I always ordered the mexican style pizza, The El Diablo, because it was so good, but my last two visits I ordered a customized pizza and a calzone. The pizza included pepperoni, roasted garlic, mushrooms, extra cheese, & spinach toppings on it and still it was fantastic. Their crust is just so good! It's not too droopy, not hard and crunchy, not too chewy, just perfect. They add plenty of cheese when you request it. It's not very greasy like some other pizzas. The calzone I ordered had pepperoni, roasted garlic, mushrooms, and spinach. SO good!!! Best calzone I have ever had. As I cut into it and speared a bite on my fork and brought it close to my lips to bite, I could smell the buttery crispy crust which made my mouth water! I bit into it and it was indeed so crispy and buttery tasting on the outside but soft and chewy on the inside of the crust. The toppings were plentiful (unlike other calzones I've had) and they were definitely cooked, not raw. Other calzones I've had were raw in the center. This one was perfectly cooked! Lots of cheese and plenty of the yummy buttery roasted garlic cloves. Soooo good!! Makes my mouth water just thinking about as I write this review, haha! Red Zepplin never disappoints with their Spinach and Artichoke appetizer. It's FANTASTIC. Best Spinach and Artichoke dip in Baton Rouge and anywhere else for that matter. I've tried this at so many restaurants (because they're my favorite app) but Red Zepplin beats them all! They have the best! I'm very picky. I think what makes their's so good is it's creamy and plenty of cheese on top, but not out of balance. And to make it even better, the dipper they use is their own pizza dough seasoned and baked perfectly thin to be a good dipper. They call them pizza points. They are good alone! Add the spinach dip and it's even better! Always served hot and bubbling. Again, only a minor complaint about this restaurant is their tables are a bit uncomfortable because they have a metal edge to them which makes your forearms cold when leaning on it and feels like you have your arm in cold water. The waitresses are super nice and always get my order correct, BUT, I would like to see them being more prompt and attending my needs a bit more frequently. They bring my order then disappear. I have to wait around for refills on drinks and when it's time for the check. Other than those, you will not find a better pizza place with good prices and food. They are fantastic. I always enjoy seeing the different celebrity autographed pictures they have hanging on the wall too. Great restaurant for pizza. Great for kids, great for college students, great for families or anyone.

Tried this place based on Yelp reviews and was not disappointed! Friendly staff, clean dining room, good drink selection, and delicious food. I had the Florentine Zeppwich, which must have been made with me in mind. Spinach/artichoke dip, cheddar and feta cheeses, chicken, and banana peppers in flatbread, perfectly complimented by sour cream for dipping. We will be back next time we're in town!

Real good pizza with a nice beer selection. Staff is very courteous. Just watch where you sit inside. If you get too close to the bathroom it could spoil your appetite. The place also has a nice patio set up.

In town for a marathon. I had to carb load. I usually go for pasta or pizza. A co worker recommend this joint. It did not disappoint. Delicious thin crust. Friendly, chirpy smiling service. I ordered a Hawaii pizza, ate the entire pie with three Zepplin Beers to boot!

This is what Yelp is all about! Local, local, local rock stars! I felt like I was in the hippest place in Baton Rouge. Paulina N.'s review does this place real justice in description, so I'll skip that part. The patio is the place to sit here. If there is even a hint of sunshine, sit outside. but be sure to bring sunblock as there are no trees, but plenty of parasols on the tables. Now to the food... generous doesn't even begin to describe the portions. The lemonade I got in the old school Coca-Cola plastic cup was easily the size of three lemonades at any other pizza shop. Zeppelin's Spinach Salad was a fantastic blend of fresh tender, baby spinach, vine ripened tomatoes, fresh mushrooms (I opted not to get them), shredded mozzarella & Parmesan topped with crumbled bacon & served with a delicious, sweet, Vidalia onion dressing. Yes this is the menu's description, but it is spot on and tastes just as great. That dressing is something that I've been reminiscing on for a while, and it just lightly spread on there. Now to the Pizza! Since the salad was so hardy, I could only eat a couple slices of my "Whole Lotta Love" pizza. Had I known how good it was going to be, I would have ordered a half salad. The pizza had a wonderful light crispy crust that crackled with each bite and would have been enjoyable with any pie. But it made this pizza with chicken, spinach, sun dried tomatoes, mushrooms (I opted for no mushrooms), feta & mozzarella cheese over an olive oil & garlic base seem like a guilt free choice in great eating! I cannot imagine that there could be a better pizza in Baton Rouge. Maybe NOLA with it's five star hotels and restaurants may have something to compete with, but for this busy college town, Red Zeppelin is easily the best hangout spot. PS: They have a full bar too as it is a prerequisite in Louisiana!

Great pizza & a cool, chill atmosphere. For the west coasters, the sauce is similar to Round Table.

Great pizza! Love the Barbeque Pizza. Who knew if you put bbq sauce on pizza that it would be just that good. I've really never had a bad meal here.

This is one of the few pizza places I've ever dined in, but the experience was quite pleasant. There's a outside patio with a huge TV and inside there are 7 tables with TVs in every direction AND an awesome alternating neon light bar. Yeah this place is small but the character isn't. For a pizza place, the interior was quite unexpected. Looks like a restaurant for a more upscale place, but it gives Red a great feel. Quite impressed with the cheese bread and the marinara. I actually really liked it, and I usually don't favor cheese. Perfectly baked and with the right amount of seasoning :) You can do half and half, thankfully bc I like mine with just pepperoni and others like fully loaded. I really enjoyed my half of the pizza. Yummy thin-crusted pizza and amazingly baked! Lol I've never raved about pizza, except for Freschetta's. The service was really great and friendly also. Easy to talk to in a very laid back atmosphere. Just awesome :)

I'm so happy to have finally found good thin crust pizza. I get sick of all of these pseudo "NYC style" pizza joints that serve thick bland pizza crust. This place is adorable and totally exceeded my expectations.

Well Shazam. I come in about twice a week at minimum. Last Thursday, i had a couple of pints and a zeppwhich. Not so excited about the zeppwhich this time around--it was burned beyond my taste palette recognition, not so delicious as the southwestern zeppwhiches' i had before. Today, being a Monday, I went for a causal happy hour but encountered a kiddie baseball party. I was about to check in and grab a seat but was distracted by the tykes running around everywhere - just couldn't enjoy my steadfast pint surrounded by kids running around closing up the gates and ish! Felt like I was at a chunky cheese so I had to abort my mission. Hopefully, parties like this wont happen again (and this was the first time I've seen one) as this is a great pizza joint with an amazing beer list. Red's just doesn't fit the bill for a tween and younger event as it has an adult atmosphere.I love this place, but will turn around at the site of another tween party. I'm a fan of kids, but don't want to associate them at my go to happy hour haven. Had to mosey on over to the bulldog -- BOO!

Tried this place with a Groupon. Great service, pizza and garlic bread was very good. Unfortunately hubby and I paid for it through the night and the next day. Won't be eating here again unless I need a major bowel movement!

I don't know how they got all these great reviews. The food was bad and the service was worse. The waitress seem to be mentally challenged. When she came out to take our order we told her we needed a minute, 10 mins later she still had not return she came out right beside our table then went back inside and started sweeping. I had to get up from the table to go get her. The pizza was super greasy and tasteless. The sodas were flat, so we ask for water instead, the water had a really strong tap taste(disgusting), she came back and stated they changed the soda machine out, but the new sodas were still nasty because the water taste was still very strong. I will definitely not return.

After being lazy all day long, I was craving some 'good' pizza for dinner. I've passed this place a couple of times during my business trips to Baton Rouge and it was only tonight that I decided to give it a shot. And now my only regret: why I was only passing by this place and never stepped in before!! It is a nice little place with decent parking and a great outdoor patio. Inside was very cozy with color changing lights. I ordered a half-Veggie and half-pepperoni pizza and I couldn't have been happier.. The taste was just phenomenal, the crust was perfect and absolute right amounts of cheese and toppings. Customer service is also exemplary. And in the end, I was amazed to see their beer collection: pretty impressive for a nice, little, cozy pizza joint!!

This is my favorite place in BR. I've had sandwiches, pizzas and calzones here and liked everything. Ingredients are fresh, service is great, drink specials are awesome, and they have a wide variety of drink options. Plus, the 70s rock played in the restaurant is another awesome feature.

This place is a gem, offering traditional pizza and a growing selection of sides. We had the hummus as an appetizer and it was really creamy and really good, the pita bread was fresh too! For our entree we chose a 14 inch "split decision" pie and opted for two of the choices, which I can't remember..both were good, just not awesome! All in all, I'd go back just to chill and nibble. I'm only giving 3 stars as our waitress kinda reminded my friend and I of a nosey Juno. Everytime she was near, she butted into our convo. Seriously it became annoying when she'd come to "refill our drinks" and jump into our convo.

First time here for lunch. The thin crust pizza had a nice tangy red sauce with fresh toppings. We are looking forward to trying the specialty pizzas and huge sandwiches. They have inside & outside seating, a drive up window for take out orders & they will even create your pizza and you can bake it at home. We will definitley return.

This is one of the best pizzerias in Baton Rouge, hands-down. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and it did not disappoint! The cheese was hot and melted, it wasn't too greasy, just as a pizza should be. Worth every penny.

Mothership is my go-to favorite at Red Zepplin. The pizza is a good thin crust style. Beer specials often include a $3 draft. The beer selection is excellent. Outdoor seating is dog friendly.

Terrible service to the point we had to walk out after waiting 20 minutes to be asked if we wanted a drink, another 10 until the waitress stopped by and said we looked "ready". DUH Left and won't be back. Ever

We stopped by on our way back to Houston from New Orleans. Wow wow wow! We called ahead and it was ready exactly when they said it would be. The pizza was exactly what we ordered and absolutely perfect. My husband did says that the Bou-Ray was a little dry but delicious. The crust is thin but very flavorful. The red sauce and alfredo are great. And of course whole roasted cloves of garlic are tough to beat. This will definitely be a regular stop when we're in the area.

I absolutely love everything about this place. They have amazing food. And their patio is great! I've done both pickup and dine-in, large and small groups, and with and without my 3 year old. And no matter what, they always deliver a delicious and incredible time. Do not miss out on this place.

This is one of the best pizzerias in Baton Rouge, hands-down. We ordered a simple pepperoni pizza and it did not disappoint! The cheese was hot and melted, it wasn't too greasy, just as a pizza should be. Worth every penny.

Mothership is my go-to favorite at Red Zepplin. The pizza is a good thin crust style. Beer specials often include a $3 draft. The beer selection is excellent. Outdoor seating is dog friendly.

We had the "Mothership" and it was pretty darn good. The beer selection was huge! There's a lot of outside seating for smokers but it's sort of close to the street so if you're sitting out there you're fighting competing pollutants - second hand smoke and car fumes. Good pizza though. Would do again.
